As one may recall SONY was the first (as far as I am aware) to introduce
a consumer OLED TV to the market, but the size was small and the resolution
was nowhere near full 1920x1080p HD, and the price was indeed steep for
such a small screen.

As to be expected the price of these large screen versions are
hefty, as was the case for large screen plasmas when they were
first made available.

So how will the picture quality of OLED TV compare to laser TV
(only available so far from Mitsubishi and still only affordable
by CEOs

and when is SONY going to deliver the goods on crystalline LED TVs
which it believes are going to save it from its failure to bring
OLED to the market at reasonable consumer prices?

We use some of these at work.

The black levels are better than CRTs and WAY better than LCDs but
they have a serious problem with color temperature vs viewing angle -
both vertical and horizontal but vertical seems worst. I wonder if LG
has improved on this.

Is the price to performance ratio worth the cost though? ;)
