Hau as in Haw, ..ppauge as in ..gauge.

Accent the first syllable.

OR Haw_page.

Like "Haw Pog." It's on Long Island outside of New York City. I lived in
and around NYC for 9 years.

And it may still be the largest industrial park on the East coast.
When my wife and I moved here 47 years ago all there was
in that area was a small farm and farmhouse. Most of the land was an
antenna farm for short wave radio.
