I bought one of these Android gadgets to try it out. It conected to my
net, and worked, sorta. But it does not load or show videos at all.
Does anyone have suggestions or point to any kind of group that
discusses these things? There is no support that I know of - and it
doesn't even say who makes it.

Maybe you should have read some of the articles and reviews on these
devices at

See in particular the article at

Maybe you should have thought about that before buying it?

Have the marketing departments of these devices
decreed that the correctly spelling stick with a
"c" is now forbidden?

If it helps you in making better purchasing choices in the future,
then it will have served its purpose.

You did say you bought it to try it out. To me that implies that you
knew it might not be great and were willing to take a chance. I've done
that sort of thing too - it can be kind of fun, can't it...

Maybe someone in rec.video.desktop would have other ideas (I don't know
anything in this area, although I will take a look now).
