I don't know if this is the right group. If not, please advise which
group I should use.

I have a 58" plasma TV that weighs 130# and is 55.1"x36.8". I am trying
to find a lift cabinet that can handle it and is finished on all four
sides. I've come close but the limiting factors seem to be weight
(100#) and height (36"). Any suggestions?

This is in a house I just bought. It is currently hanging over a
fireplace, which I hate. If I have to I will just put it on a cabinet,
but given its size I would prefer to hide it when not in use.

I have never personally seen one that is finished on all FOUR sides. The back side
is normally a bakelite or plywood where wires can be attached and splitters
screwed in!

You will need a custom cabinet with a james-bond-movie elevator
that moves the TV up when in use. I have seen pictures of one of
these that can be installed OUTDOORS!

Touchstone makes one, the Grand Elevate, that is finished on all four
sides. It is designed for the foot of a bed. Unfortunately, my 58"
plasma is a bit too tall, 38", and heavy, 130#.

WTTW, don't mount it on the ceiling :-)
